Our 2 night stay here was simply not enough. Pam & Dirk's hospitality and helpfulness was second to none. They guided us in our exploration of the Marg River region, and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived (Dirk even remembered a specific request made by myself via e-Mail 3mths prior to our arrival). Breakfast was a beautiful mixture of homemade toast, locally-made jams, cereals, and whatever you wished in a fry-up, using home grown tomatoes, eggs laid on site...you get the idea.

Loaring Place feels hundreds of kilometres from anywhere, but it's only 10min drive to Marg River township. Surrounded by the beautiful Australian bushlands all around, the disconnection from the pace of modern-life, made Loaring Place the perfect place to unwind. Highly recommended...VERY highly recommended. (And Casey, Pam & Dirk's dog is gorgeous!!!)

As we drove up the little road to our bed and breakfast we knew then we had chosen the right place for our four day stay in beautiful Margaret River. We stepped out of the car and was greeted by Pam and Dirk who immediatley made you feel very welcomed. Our rooms were beautifully decorated, comfy beds and with all the mod cons down to electric blankets, split aircon, heated towel rack and this most gorgeous spa bath.
Our rooms all had their own balcony with the outlook of a garden, plasma tv and the latest magazines. The lounge and dining area housed a large tv, internet access, tea and coffee facilities as well as homemade muffins which were to die for.
Each day we had a beautiful cooked breakfast with homemade bread plus a choice of a continental one if we chose. As we left each day Dirk was there with map in hand ready to help us on our way, we got very spoilt and loved our stay here very much, thankyou Dirk and Pam.

Designed for B&B and in a lovely forested location just minutes from Town and the best wineries in the area. We found the owners friendly and inviting, the dogs loveable, and the stay fantastic.
The rooms are laid out to make each one's outlook private into the garden with lovely patios, big bathroom with jet tubs and seperate showers, and comfy beds. The breakfast was delicious and served in a lovely common room with dining area inside or out on the sundrenced patio. There'sa big TV if you want to watch DVD on the big screen, or retreat to your room to catch something while lying in bed.
The house is set well off the main road in some lovely native bush. You get to hear all the birds in the morning and the evening creature noises. We weren't lucky enough to see a kangaroo in the garden but there had been one the day before having a breakfast nibble on the lawn.
With recommendation from the owners we headed out to the Caves just south of them. A definite must for any trip. Of course the wineries and restaurants are delicious and not to be missed.
Thank you for a lovely stay.

My husband and I spent 4 days at this bed and breakfast and very much enjoyed our stay. The bedrooms were lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. The common area is bright and spacious and there is a great flat screen TV which has foxtel. It is only a 10 minute drive from Margaret River and using the designated driver scheme ( A company who will come and drive your car home ) getting back from Margaret River town costs just $25.... if you fancy enjoying more than one glass of wine. Dirk was a fund of information and both he and Pam are lovely hosts.

We absolutely loved our stay at Loaring Place and couldn't have asked for a more friendly, clean, quaint, private spot. Everything from the breakfast to the kangaroos off our porch were wonderful. We actually blogged about the B&B, that's how much we loved it! http://thedelowes.wordpress.com/2010/03/17/margaret-river-australia/

This B & B is in a delightful bushland setting, yet within easy driving distance of the good restaurants in Margaret River & surrounds. The Great Room provided a wonderfully open bright place to work & chat. Pam's fresh warm scones were to die for.

WE had not done a lot of reasearch on activities before arriving. Dirk was a great host, he sussed out our interests and time and made great suggestions .. The Kauri forest road was spectacluar.
Dirk & Pam thanks for the delighful weekend
