The Heritage lodge is perfectly located just a short walk from Margaret River. The room we stayed in had a forest view and was perfect and so refreshing in every single way. The bed was huge and so comfortable, we just didnt want to leave it come morning. The room had all the facilities you could possibly want, private balcony, tv, dvd player, fridge, wine glasses, kettle, toaster, cutlery and a selection of free dvds available at reception. The bathroom was beautiful with the spa bath being a real special touch. The staff were very helpful and informative and helped us make the best of our time in Margaret River. The continental breakfast was delicious with all its locally sourced produce. Highly recommend the Heritage Trail Lodge as a place to stay!!

My partner and I loved our recent 3 night stay here. Location is just a short walk from the centre of town (but our small torch came in very handy after returning from dinner). We had a forest view room, which I can recommended is quiet and away from the road noise. Roomy and the spa was fabulous. Nice toiletries included. Hosts were very friendly and had knowledge of the local area and attractions. Breakfast was wonderful and showcases local produce. Happy to recommend this property.

Room Tip: Forest View rooms are at the rear and away from the highway

The Heritage Trail Lodge was my idea of a perfect place to stay. Located in a lush forest just a short walk from downtown we had everything at our fingertips. The bed was very very comfortable (although 2 pushed together, like all hotels in Australia it seems) and the free movie rentals were nice. The continental breakfast was a real treat featuring mainly locally sourced food in a beautifully sunny dining room. Spa tub was a great way to end a nice day. For the quality of this facility, the price is remarkable. We tried to stay a third night but not surprisingly they were fully booked. They seemed to have thought of every detail. Thanks for a great stay!

Room Tip: rooms on forest side are probably quieter

We stayed in a forest view room for two nights at short notice. The hosts had just taken over (a week ago) and we were warmly welcomed. The room was private and quite dark once the curtains were drawn (perfect for a sleep-in), toiletries were well-appointed, bath was huge and deep, breakfast was delicious and featured lots of local produce (cheeses, cereals, fruits). Would (and am) recommending this to anyone staying in Margaret River.

Room Tip: Forest rooms are away from the main road, garden rooms are at the front of the property.

Just out of town but still within walking distance to the centre of town. this is a really lovely spot set on the edge of the forest. The rooms are large and clean with a very big soft bed. Huge bathroom with good lighting and roomy spa. We enjoyed our stay and the owners were very helpful with tips on the local wineries and restaurants.

Room Tip: The forrest view rooms are very quiet

Heritage Trail Lodge is in a fantastic location surrounded by forrest, a perfect place to relax and listen to the birds singing and the wind in the trees. The continental breakfast was of the highest standard with local produce on offer. The rooms were very private, clean and comfortable. The location is also very convenient for wineries, the beach, golf and a myriad of other leisure activities. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We recently spent a wonderful few days at Heritage Trail Lodge in a Luxury Suite. Linda & Philip were very welcoming and helpful with their knowledge of the area. Our suite was very spacious with excellent attention to detail. We had a fantastic nights sleep and awoke to lovely forrest views complete with kangaroos & parrots.A scrumptious gourmet breakfast daily completed our stay.
