We booked here based on previous positive reviews. Perhaps the rooms vary and we just had a bad one. We always check the pillows on arrival: all of ours (not just one) were stained yellow with old sweat (one had blood stains), hairs on the sheets and toe nail clipping on the floor. On a plus note when I explained to Reception we would not be staying, the staff were very courteous - can't fault them at all. Accommodation in general along the WA coast is very expensive for the money but if you're used to roughing it, just driving through for the night and don't want to camp then this is fine. Many of the motor inn/lodges we stayed were similar standard to this: if you're planning on a long drive and looking for basic accommodation this place is fine - just buy your own pillows from Target en-route!

Room Tip: bring your own pillows

Older style accommodation on the highway in Geraldton. The accommodation came with a free continental breakfast. We were running late to check in and were phoned to ensure we knew how to get there, very nice and friendly service.

Stayed here for 2 nights, business trip. The reception called me to see if I was still coming, as I was later than expected. Was given a voucher for free drink in the bar. Room was old but large with double and single bed, and lots of space for luggage. Windows were double-glazed so there was no noise from the busy highway outside. Spotlessly clean. Wifi was very strong. Breakfast was served in the bar / restaurant, and was simple continental, they could definitely improve on instant Blend 33 coffee, though ... who drinks that stuff these days? Dinner menu available but on the pricey side for what it was. Otherwise good value and perfectly happy.

Hotel condition is quite good although lower level rooms are a bit like a dungeon at the back. Location is out of town and right on the main highway and the room we had was not double glazed so street noise was at unacceptable high levels to allow a good nights sleep. Would not stay here again or recommend unless noise issues were addressed in all rooms not only more expensive executive rooms. Breakfast included which was a good touch but dining room staff not overly approachable due to lack of English.

Room Tip: Do not stay unless in a double glazed room.

We have been travelling through Australia since February 4 and the hotel ranked the lowest in our opinion that we have stayed in. The carpet is filthy, and full of stains. The coffee table in the room was dirty and glass marks on it. Obviously it had not been wiped since the last guests had stayed. The bathroom was decent with fresh linens. The room was extremely large and if it were cleaned up (probably new carpet installed) and given a good face lifting, it would be a decent accommodation.
