We didn't have a lot of time because we only called in for a short look. But, to our surprise the organisers have modeled and built a surprisingly well structured artistic monument. It takes a while to look about and view the names and other details, so try to put aside more time here than you would expect to do. It is really a nice, quiet place to remind us of the tragic heroism in a small part of our history, and to reflect on the enormous number of lives lost at sea. The beautiful dome must be made of high quality stainless steel and would have cost a fortune.
Number 1 thing to do in Geraldton.
