The restaurant is adorned with gold plate awards going back over a number of years, which suggests that they have a winning formula. We were seated in a lounge area whilst the staff made up a table with a high chair for our youngest. Once seated the service flowed with menu's, drinks and crayons / paper for our oldest grand-daughter.
We share a couple of entrees, followed by a selection from the lunchtime menu. The food was tasty and well presented. Although it did seem to take a while between courses which was down to the homemade chicken, leek and ham pie cooking time.
The children's menu was excellent and the presentation even better, a miture of offering served in a square dish with compartments for each food type.
The staff were very attentive and friendly adding to the overall ambience. This restaurant is worth a visit.
