“It's the best Bunbury has to offer.”
Reviewed May 8, 2014 via mobile

There would be no better expert chef/consumer of Indian food than me in the South West. I learnt to cook it at the Oberoi in Mumbai and at Indian Star in Rotorua NZ which is the best anywhere. I only learn from the very best and have eaten Indian in every major city around the globe over 30 years.
Now the locals have been raving about the food at the van asking me if I've tried it. Well tonight I did order the beef lamb chicken mixed vegetables garlic and plain naan. The dishes all come with basmati rice the total order came to $70. It was a good volume of food but it never had the spice rush- by definition - it needed more input with the likes of garam masala- cumin- coriander - Kashmir chilli - mustard seeds- methi- salt -garlic- ginger- tomato paste- etc across the various dishes that require whichever of them. It was almost there - but if you love the real deal it's not it. However, it is the best Bunbury has to offer namely because the others are shocking. Go and enjoy you won't be disappointed.

“Consistently Good.”
Reviewed February 25, 2014

We've been to the spice journey van 6 times now. We have loved the butter chicken, masala dosa, samosa, lamb curry and our favourite; anything they do with paneer. Good rice, good spice, good garlic naan and and best of all good price, which means we can eat here often. We find 2 regular curries, and one naan ( curries come with basmati rice and papadums ) is enough to comfortably feed 2. Good Indian at the beach in Bunbury. Enough said!
