“great affordable attraction”
Reviewed September 21, 2013

Visited here with friends and their 2 small children (5 and 3)
The cost was very affordable, less than $50 for 4 adults, 2 kids and some food for the animals
We explored the different aviaries and had great fun with the talking parrot who danced and waved.
The kangaroos were very relaxed and followed us for food. They were really friendly and the children loved playing with them.
We had a great time in the park and easily spent a couple of hours here
The café was very clean and well priced. The staff and volunteers all seemed approachable and polite
To top it all off the children then had great fun playing on the playground outside the park
I'd certainly recommend this place to people with young children and the young at heart

“Value for money”
Reviewed August 26, 2013

This park is a well presented and tidy place. I didn't stick around reception, we just went straight in to see the animals. My friends from overseas had never seen a kangaroo so they were pretty excited. We had a short walk around and fed the roos and emus. This place didn't have big red roos, koalas, or dingos, but for $9 entry I am not complaining. Some places will slog you $20-30 for the same thing! All the animals were looking happy, healthy and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone with kids or are looking for a cheap experience for their overseas friends

“Excellent-got close to all the birds and Kangaroos”
Reviewed August 8, 2013

This place is an excellent destination for families with young children. We can get close to birds and actually one of the birds sat on my shoulder and wanted me to feed him!. There are lot of other birds and wildlife to see. And all this for a low entry fee. No parking problems. Just outside the park is a big place for kids to play. Nice place. The drive from Perth was worth it. Will visit again.

“Good but losing some of the fun...”
Reviewed July 28, 2013

Went here for the second time recently and whilst we still had a good time, it seems to have less birds and animals now and so lost a bit of the fun.
The largest walk-in aviary seems to be missing the most birds. Last time we remembered it to be much more interactive with lots of princess parrots and other birds landing on us and wanting to be fed. This time there was none of that in the large aviary and it seemed like a lot of the birds had been moved out to some of the smaller aviaries around the place where you couldn't interact.
There also seemed to be less kangaroos around.
Its a shame if this place is down-sizing or becoming less interactive because its really a one of kind place in the region.

“Hidden gem”
Reviewed June 16, 2013

I'm a Bunbury local and whenever we've got relatives from overseas staying with us, we take them to the wildlife park. It is a small, relaxed place - you're free to meander around and I've never encountered queues or crowds. Even though I've visited many times, the novelty of having a parrot/kangaroo eat from my hand has not worn off!

It is a small place, you could whip around it in 45 minutes if you were in a hurry. But it would be worth taking a picnic - there's a kids playground next door - and spending a couple of hours there.
