“Another "Belle" experience”
Reviewed December 8, 2012

Another delightful night of accommodation, a separate kitchen/lounge, although not super-large was extremely adequate, a TV in the lounge and one in the bedroom gave choices, it was cold and the split system heating worked efficiently and quietly. The service was lovely, booking in a breeze, brekkie of scrambled eggs and bacon was hot and spot on the time I requested.

Room Tip: I stayed in Room 16, at the rear of the property car parking basically at the front door.

Drove into Warrnambool after dark, bit tired, bit drive exhausted from Naracoorte to Mt Gambier then to Hamilton and finally Warrnambool, having stayed here before with feelings of goodness my choice was correct, a warm welcome at their small reception, a smile and booking in was simple, this lady needs no 'puter', she looks and recognise's and offers a "Welcome-Back-Discount", rooms are great and compact, breakfast on-time, hot and delicious, drive for about 5 minutes and get a great bistro-smorgasboard meal at Macey's for a lazy $15.00, including free Wi-Fi - and that's a fantastic bonus....

Room Tip: All rooms are great....

We stayed for one night during the queens birthday long weekend. Was very cosy, comfortable clean linen, the heater kept us warm as it was a very cold winter's night. We also had a spa bath which was relaxing. I would definitely stay here again! It was a shame we could only stay one. The lady at the reception was very helpful aswell.

We stayed a Friday and Saturday night because we had a committment nearby. While the motel is certainly not corporate, we found it very clean and comfortable. The staff are really friendly, and the room layout worked well for the whole family. The unit had 2 rooms.
In terms of pricing, I found it fairly reasonable in comparison to other facilities nearby. TV's in both rooms, good reverse cycle air conds (we were there in winter). What more could you want.
The other thing worth nothing is the motel's proximity to central Warranambool. We didn't choose it based on the location, but it's closness to central Warranambool meant we could leave the car back at the room.
One thing worth noting; try calling the management before making the booking via expedia.com or similar. We booked via expedia, only to find the manager/owner would have matched the advertised price. Essentially, these booking websites are taking a pretty large chunk of the hotel's revenue. So, for a country motel, it's worth a call to see if you can get the same rate and cut out the middle man. This certainly doesn't apply to city hotels.
I've stayed at hundreds of hotels and I recommend this one. Don't expect the Hilton, but clean, decent and cheerful.

Payed $185 for 1 bedroom with queen bed. The bath was dirty and had hair in it, the red pillows on the bed smelt sweaty. Was very disappointed with how much we paid for what we got. It was more an $80 per night room. Only positive- location

On looking at the location and style of this motel I would not have generally pulled into the reception area.
As it was the Christmas holidays and most accommodation was marked not vacant, and as we did not know exactly when we would arrive at destinations on this trip, we took luck into our midst once more.
The manager, receptionist was very sweet, as I was not in a good temper in the heat after another full day of driving - this time from Wagga Wagga.
I was delightfully surprised on entering the room which was more like a twin room. A queen bed and a single in one front room, away from most traffic noise once we closed the door. The shower in this motel was the best on our travels.
We made friends with some other travelers and were recommended to have dinner at the bowls club - great food and service.
So thankful this motel was available, and not on the beach area, as a carnival was going on when we needed sleep. Good location away from the noise. Cost for 1 night was $170 in Dec holidays.

Stayed in a "family" room - basically two rooms with a separate bathroom. Main room had a Queen bed, sofa, dining table with 2 chairs, bar fridge (chilled glasses inside) microwave, tv, toaster, kettle, basic mini bar items etc. Second room had two single beds with tv, cupboard. Rooms nicely outfitted - freshly painted, very clean and quality linens etc. Cooked breakfast room service available (order prior to 8pm) at very reasonable prices. Motel owners & hosts very friendly and helpful.
