Prices are up as well. The meals are OKish but never outstanding. It's never appears to be more than half full of patrons. Whereas in Europe the outsides seats are next to the restaurant, here the waiters have to navigate through the pedestrians. It took Leo's ages to get a licence for seating out the front because of the tram stop.

Great Food and good value. I had the Gnocchi Polo Fungi and it was one of the best Gnocchis i ever had. My partner had the Linguine smoked salmon off the specials, so i had abit of his, and it was beautiful too. We also had the cheese garlic bread, which to die for!!

Good food, good prices, friendly staff, lovely outdoor seating.

Will be back soon!

We were strolling down the street & the tables in the sun looked inviting, alas we made a poor choice! We were served the worst meals we've ever had. The beef salad was a topped with chuck steak, apparently marinated, only in litres of olive oil. My poor mum was delivered a seafood marinara pile of mush, which consisted of defrosted prawns & scallops, scary looking mussels & over cooked spaghetti. There was no cracked pepper or parmisan in sight. The waitress, although very sweet, could not speak a word of english and to top it all off the two meals & two drinks cost $50. We are from Sydney and that was our first meal in Melbourne which does not bode well for it's reputation.

Great food and value for money. Kids loved it. Gnocchi was delicious and the meatball special was good. Service was ok.

We have visited Leo's off and on for over 40 years - but not over the past few years, and decided to visit there on a sunny Sunday afternoon around 3pm because we knew the meals keep coming all day. The most expensive dish was their Pasta Alla Leo's Marinara and that's just what we needed after having a rather inadequate meal in another local more up market and expensive restaurant a few days previously. Just had to square off with my dear wife. What a great idea that turned out to be! Outside table, beautiful sunny day, plenty of passing activity .... and good service from friendly staff. The low priced wine was good, and the meal was just perfect with heaps of sea food, and perfectly cooked spaghetti with the napoli red sauce as good as it gets!! With that meal, we didn't need anything else and whilst there were many lower priced meals on the menu, we were happy to have this one that we fully recommend.
