“Unexpected oasis”

Love these gardens. Have been to many picnics with friends here and it's always a great venue. A friend also had a beautiful wedding there.

Beautiful oasis in the heart of st kilda
Well worth a wander every season
Vey dog friendly
Cold sunny winters days are my favourite

“perfect for a family picnic on weekends or a quiet wander during the week.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 8, 2014

Expansive gardens with plenty of space for a family or for a romantic picnic in summer. A small lake with a large chess board open areas when you can kick a football or throw a frisbee.Dogs are welcome.Areas for children to play and climb.Beautiful rose garden large hedges. plenty of choice for you to pop down your picnic basket and enjoy. busy on the weekends particularly in summer when there is often weddings in the rose garden. If you prefer it quieter it is much quieter during the week when you can stroll around the gardens and enjoy the plants and the tranquility from busy city life. There is also a conservatory. Open between dawn and dusk.

“Great place to relax.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 30, 2014

When the weather is nice, this is a great little place to go and picnic or sunbathe. A lot of times we just brought a blanket and a book. This would be a great place to bring kids.
