Description: Authentic Mexican flavours in a Melbourne kind of way. Perfect Margaritas, beer on tap and wine from Australia and beyond. Local's favourite, for its combination of great service and great food. Great Service, very small portions, pricey and it all ends up tasting the same. Cocktails were popular but they don'do frozen margaritas, despite that it was tasty and potent. Good looking crowd, overall style over substance.

As I was staying in the hotel across the road and didn't want to venture too far, I thought I'd check out the nearest happening place which was Radio Mexico. I timed it carefully and missed the evening rush by showing up around 8:30pm.

Their margaritas are a must. Perfectly balanced with a healthy salty rim, this is a meal in itself!

I highly recommend the ceviche which was light, flavoursome and zingy. The quesadillas, guacamole and homemade tortillas were excellent too.

Yes it's a little loud but it's somehow hip without being pretentious. Service was friendly and fast and if you don't order four margaritas, the price is very reasonable indeed.

Have been wanting to go there for a while. Last night had the chance to go. It was wonderful from the Guacamole to the spicy pumpkin taco. Will be back no doubt.

I really like this place. Have taken our children a few times. We have always got a table immediately -- Only so many of us hipsters eating at 5.30/6 pm.The staff have always been friendly and helpful. I love the loud music, the decor, the "vibe". There's a basic kids menu and they are entertained by crayons and pictures supplied. I agree that there should be some extra hot sauce on the table but overall we enjoy the food a lot.

No bookings means that at 6.30pm on a Tuesday in early January our names were taken and we had to go away and come back in an hour. The music is up VERY loud and the bass is at 11, so we played 'guess the track' because all you can hear is the kick drum and the bass guitar. This also means that shouting is the order of the day. The service is brusque and not very engaged. You can't fault the speed or communication, it's just not very friendly. And the food? Not that fantastic either. The lamb taco smelled fantastic, but had no taste ... and it's all very light on the spice we were expecting. So all in all, we decided this was a place for the young and cool, who like that the music is setting them up for deafness in middle age, love doof doof so not being able to hear the melody is no drama, and don't really care that the food is really only average ... if they are in a fashionable place then that's all the matters. All in all, we decided that this place wasn't for us and we wouldn't be back. We'd leave it to the hip 20 somethings. PS. Whilst there was an hour's queue at 6.30pm by 8.30pm there were empty tables.
