Recently went on a tour to mungo national park, what a wonderful experience, had no idea of the cultural significance of the area, we took a tour with Trevor, from Murraytrek Tours in Mildura, it was obvious he has many years experience of this area . The tour included morning tea & lunch, the trip out to Mungo is about one hundred & twenty kilometres of very rough dirt road. There were six other visitors on this tour, thankfully the vehicle was airconditioned, we seen wedged tailed eagles kangaroos emus, we even seen an echidna.
