We just spent a week at this resort during the school holidays and were very impressed from the moment we arrived. Our 2 bedroom unit in Bermuda Court was clean, spacious and well-appointed and the BBQ area in the grounds near our unit very handy.

The outdoor, lagoon-style pool provided many hours of entertainment for myself and my 10 year old son. In addition, the resort has an indoor pool complex, spas, sauna, games room, mini golf, tennis courts, small basketball court, large outdoor chess board, electric BBQ's, kiosk and bistro. Several child and family-friendly activities were run by the resort each day, the highlight of which was a kids only dinner and movie on Wednesday night from 6.30pm to 9.00pm.

The great location enabled us to spend some of our holiday exploring Mildura and its surrounds. We also discovered several cafes and restaurants worth visiting - Stefano's Cafe and Bakery; Seasons Restaurant and the Pizza Cafe found at the Grand Hotel Mildura; and 48 Flavours ice cream shop.

A wonderful resort we intend visiting again in the near future.

Sunrasia Resort Mildura
Over the years we as a family of three have vacationed in many interesting places, both within Australia and overseas, but time and time again we have returned to Mildura Victoria.
Our favourite place to stay is The Sunrasia Resort on Tenth Street.
After a long drive, entering Sunrasia Resort is like entering an oasis. Tall palm trees and garden settings pretty much hide the accommodation and reception buildings.
Sunrasia is a time share resort, but is open to all who wish to stay. We have stayed there so often, we really should have bought time.
Sunrasia is a secure, child friendly site. They boast an indoor heated pool and spa, Sauna room with its own enclosed heated pool, and a lagoon themed outdoor pool. (Not heated.)
Away from the pool, there are four full sized tennis courts, and two half size courts. The resort arranges Round Robin tennis tournaments for the children during school holiday times.
Other widely varied children’s activities cater for children of most ages.
Putt putt golf amongst the palm trees, is supposed to be relaxing, but some of the holes are very trying.
A small basketball court, and large chess board, will suit other age groups.
Night time activities for young and old, ensure many visitors don’t stay holed up in their comfortable apartments at night.
Outside activities include the town wave pool, walks and drives along the river, or visit many other tourist attractions.
My favourite day out starts with a visit to the local refuse depot, (what? You may ask.) to the goes around section, (good for a browse).
I purchase a boogie board, cheap, cheap, and then head on out to the giant red sand hills on the way to Wentworth. (Fergie , the tractor country).
On your newly purchased boogie board, some thrilling rides for young and old, thrilling sand hill slides await.
Being so close to Wentworth, call in and see the city that Fergie saved.
All in all, The Sunrasia Resort, and The Sunrasia area have so much to offer the visitor.
Don’t hang back, GO.

We just spent a week at this resort. It is a nice. Lots of palm trees.
There were two things we would not recommend at all. On monday nights they have half price drinks from 5-6 but one of the ladies serving was a bit unfriendly maybe because the drinks were supposed to be half price; We did not get the drinks at half price, she only took a dollar off and to one of our friends she charged the full price and claimed this was not part of the offer. there was a young girl serving and she was lovely and friendly. Then at 6.30 was the camp roast. We had some allergy requests which were not followed up properly by the company doing the roast even though they claim they did. For a price tag of $18.00 pp this was not worth it.
We addressed these issues with the manager who was polite and friendly but explained that both the camp roast and the bar belong to outside contracts and it was not directly run by the resort, but he would look into it. We wanted a refund on the meals at the camp roast in view of the fact that they could not be eaten by our guests due to the fact that there was garlic in the gravy and they could not eat garlic. We heard from him about the camp roast the following day only because we came into the office to hire a DVD and he came out to serve us. He stated the man running the roast had done all possible to fulfil the requirements and hence would not give us a refund. He said the man doing the camp roast had been doing for years and never had a complain. He also stated he would look into the half price drink situation but he never got back to us. Sad, even a courtesy call would have been enough but coutesy calls are hard to come by.
So all in all an ok good resort but would not recommend the monday night activities and management need to have a bit more PR
skills.

Just spent a week at the resort with friends and found it very pleasant. We had two, two bedroom apartments ,fully selfcontained with all that you need in the kitchen to be just like home. The pool areas are great, indoor and out, also spa room and sauna. Plenty of tennis courts & mini golf. It would be hard to find a more tidy resort, if one found a piece of rubbish or weed about it would be lonely. There always seemed to be plenty of staff around keeping everything up to scratch so it seems like the maintenance monies are being well spent. Palms every where and the Sails in the pool area give the place a real Queensland feel. Weather was great and the abundance of Jackaranda trees in Mildura were all in bloom, beautifull. There were activities planned by the resort most days and nights and we joined the local information session and MEET AND GREET NIGHT, good times to meet other holiday makers. we went on their dinner cruise down the Murray onboard the Rothbury and joined the water aerobics all great fun and well organised. There are plenty of barbecues around the resort which we put to good use. The resort is about 15 minutes walk from the main CBD area and there is a nice bakery just around the corner for a quick shop. Little items that are brought to the offices attention are taken care of very quickly. We ate at the resort restaurant one night and the food was good, we also joined there pancake breakfast one morning near the main pool area and that was excellent. This is a good place to stay to explore all the nearby towns and it seems there is a market nearby on most weekends. Well worth a visit is the OAK VALLEY WINERYabout 8ks.out of town. Fred from the winery was at the local info night at the resort giving it a speel so we went out and met his wife and son tried their lovely wines and enjoyed cheese & meat platters, a lovely afternoon. Have no hesitation in recommending this resort to anyone travelling to the Mildura area for a holiday, A area like a oasis in the desert.

Room Tip: If you stay in the ground floor of the double storey units sometimes there is a bit of floor noise c...

I have stayed here several times over the years, as there is a lot to do for kids. You really don't have to leave the resort if you don't want to, except maybe to do some grocery shopping. This time I have come up with boys aged 18 & 19 who are just happy to make use of the tennis courts, indoor & outdoor swimming pools, gym, basketball half court etc. There is also a kiosk & restaurant on-site if cant be bothered cooking, plus pancake mornings on Mondays. My four year old is also here & enjoys the playground, mini-golf & swimming. Our unit this time is looking a little tired, still is comfortable though, but I understand they have begun a renovating program. Gym equipment is also old & outdated but pool areas are fantastic.

Not far away is the river, & the opportunity to take a paddlesteamer up the Murray, which is well worth doing too.

We stay here quite often as our family have a timeshare here. We always love coming and the kids have the time of their lives! The indoor pool is really lovely and a great temperature, it also has a little section for toddlers and there is a separate spa. The lagoon pool is amazing and perfect for kids or if you want to lay in the sun and chill out. There is also a larger indoor spa with a sauna off to the side. The grasses are always mowed and green and the rest of the garden really well maintained. The kids playground needs updating as it is getting quite tired. We didnt eat at the restaurant this time round, but have in the past and it was quite nice a tad over-priced though. The rooms are fairly nice and have all the necessities you need, although the pots and pans were quite poor quality and everything seemed to stick to the bottom and burn. some of the units have their own washing machine and dryer (although our dryer didnt work). Usually we have an ensuite in our unit, but this time we didnt. The beds are only double too, not queen, so it is quite hard to go from your home bed to these, we kept kicking each other!
The place is very family friendly and there are various activities for kids, (also pricey!), but all in all, a lovely place to stay, and always lovely and sunny weather.
