This was a scenic drive from Halls Gap with an easy short walk to view the falls. Keep your noise to a minimum when walking and you will hear and see birdlife.

A lovely drive to the falls, and a well kept pathway with viewing places down to the falls, and at the base the view was the same as a postcard, beautiful

Well maintained pathway leading towards the falls below. It was drizzling on the day we were there and the base of the falls were slippery. The hike up was exhausting but worth it!

I was quite exhausted by the time we arrived to this destination, I really thought we would just walk to the top and get going.
We took one look and just had to walk all the way to the bottom, and it was beautiful. You are not supposed to swim at the bottom so we filled our hats with water and tipped it over our heads before the steep walk back to the top.
The store was selling water and ice cream by the dozens on the day we were there. Heat wave!!! There were plenty of thirsty kookaburras, magpies, crows and rosella s around to take your food and or drinks if you were not paying attention. They were very bold.
Sensible shoes is a must for the walk to the bottom.

A must for any visitor to the Grampians. Luckily there had been rain the previous night and the falls were in full speight. A lot of steps and slopes to negotiate with very little shade en route. Worth the pain though and even better if you put your feet in the water!
