I have been there many, many times, but this was just fantastic. The new stand looked good, and the new lights were just terrific. I felt so proud of Geelong and of the Geelong Football Club. We won too, so that made it all better.

We were at the stadium for the first game under the new lights, the atmosphere was good but found the areas not recently upgraded to be quite aged and in need of upgrading to match the newly completed parts. Access in and out of the ground was very limited such that there was always a long queue at the breaks in the football. Large lines for the bathrooms as well. Pays to book army though, especially for non Geelong fans as there are only a small number of ticket available to other teams.

I have previously reviewed this attraction but the venue has changed dramatically. Travelled over from Adelaide and was very happy I was able to attend the first match here last Saturday under lights. What a transformation. I had a seat in the new Player’s Stand and the view was great. The new Hoops Bar area and the lower concourse are excellent with everything about the ground having the Geelong Cats theme. This is unique these days, as most AFL teams have to share grounds and they tend to get a bit homogonous.
The ground still maintains the old style tribal feel that existed when clubs had their own grounds.
All the facilities are great including access, toilets and food & drink stalls. One thing that is common to most sporting venues is cold food and hot prices - sad to say there is no exception here!
All concerned at the Geelong Football Club are to be congratulated for turning this venue into a world class sporting venue.

The re-design is great! We sat out in the open, but as the dont have a roof, it'd be a good idea to get a seat under the covered grand stands. Dont miss the huge team poster inside the ground, where you can sit in a chair and get your photo taken with the team shot. Also theres life size images of a few of the player to compare your height which is fun for the kids, along with hand prints too. They have memrobillia and premiership cups on dislay also as well as information on why the cats got their name, player history etc. There really great additions to the stadium.

Wow what a great asset to Geelong the only regional town to have their own football club and stadium. I was there last night for the first home game. Very proud to be part of history. Great sporting venue
