Just spent two wonderful nights in Echuca at the Adelphi apartments. Magic location. Julianne met us on arrival and is truly a fountain of knowledge and quite delightful. Nothing is too much trouble for her and on discovering it was my birthday, came back with a wonderful bottle of bubbles. The apartment was spotlessly clean, modern, very well equipped and the beds extremely comfortable. Fabulous bathroom. Position of these apartments is a stones throw to most of the activities and walking distance to all the cafes, restaurants and shops.
Our apartment was a two bedroom (the only one left when we booked) the only 'downside' to this one #3 is that 3A is above and there seems to be very little in the way of any soundproofing between the floors. Fortunately the people above were quiet. But nonetheless we could still hear them talking, walking, showering. Not very private!! So if you are thinking of booking - try getting an upstairs apartment.
Played at the Rich Rover Golf course -west side. West side has more trees and really wide fairways. East side has more bunkers and ponds. In great condition and really good for social players as well as those more experienced.
If you have the time and inclination we can heartily recommend a visit to the Cape Horn Vineyard. A bit out of the way but well worth it. If Jac is on the cellar door, she'll give you a wonderful 'history' lesson of the Murray River as well as the local area. John (the owner) will usually make an appearance and he too, is a very convivial host, as are the two labradors! The do a great wood fired pizza at lunch times so you can sit out in the magical setting overlooking the Murray and enjoy their wine and food, or you can take your own picnic lunch.

Room Tip: Take an upstairs river view apartment if you have a choice

First contact with the Adelphi is Julianne, what a gem! She gives directions, advice for dinner, a brief rundown on Echuca you name it she does it. The apartment we had was on the river, a 2BR. We arrived about 7.30 and the kids went straight in the 27degree outdoor pool., complete with towels provided. The bathroom was large enough that the kids could shower together while I took a spa. The lounge and dining area was well set out and the balcony was spacious and led to a grassed area right on the river. Echuca has so much to see and do, and having just the overnight stop on our way through was not enough. We will be back and we will stay at the Adelphi again. oh, nearly forgot, BEST BED ever.

Room Tip: Ask Julianne for whatever you need, she will match you up perfectly.

We are staying in a one bedroom apartment and have found it clean, spacious and very comfortable. We have a small kitchenette, a lovely king size bed and a pretty little courtyard that we've enjoyed sitting outside to eat our dinner. Julianne is just lovely. Friendly and very cheerful. You can tell she loves being here. We have already booked the same apartment for our return trip home. Highly recommended

Had a great stay in a 3 bedroom apartment, with river view. The apartment was spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. Perfect location, close to the Port and shops. Would not stay anywhere else in Echuca.
Thanks Julianne.

Our visit to Echuca was greatly enhanced by our accommodation of two nights at the Adelphi. My only regret is that two nights is not nearly enough to see everything in Echuca, let alone the surrounding area. However, we had to make do with a riverview apartment right on the Campaspe which was in full flow. We shared the view with families of ducks. Across the river you can see cyclists, joggers and walkers enjoying the parkland tracks. The track in front of the apartment was under construction (as is the visitor centre in the Port of Echuca). The grounds are well maintained and very enjoyable. The apartment itself is very clean, and well maintained and fitted out. We enjoyed the TV from two large comfortable couches, and also made use of the large fridge and the toaster for breakfast. The bathroom is really amazing especially the pebble floor shower and four light settings to keep you warm on a cold morning! We had a perfect sleep each night in our comfortable beds. We woke up to enjoy the morning newspaper on our doorstep. Last but not least we appreciated the welcoming and generous host who provided lots of useful advice, particularly about where to eat out.

Room Tip: Riverfront to enjoy the view of the Campaspe River.
