Have stayed at The Nirebo a couple of times and will again simply because of the perfect location adjacent to the old port area and walking distance to great pubs and restaurants. The business traveller-type rooms do seem a little tired but are super clean and the staff are just terrific. Highly recommend especially based on locality, ease of parking and friendly staff!

A quiet spot - off the main highway, and close, walking distance to all the interesting eateries and the historic Port of Echuca!

The staff were great, always happy to help with requests, and advice on what to visit and where to eat in Echuca.

Lovely, comfortable, clean room.

Highly recommend this motel.

Room Tip: Spa bath room was great!

Have stayed at the Nirebo several times, usually in the Spa Rooms, which are clean and reasonably comfortable, although the Spa is small, the size of a normal bath, and the front rooms are to be avoided on weekends as you get a lot of noise from the Hotel next door. We stayed recently in a normal room as we were using a travel voucher, the room was very dated, the bathroom tiny, with barely enough room to get dressed, the hand basin was in the main room, the beds rock hard with a bedside table only on one side with barely enough room to squeeze down the other side. A cooked breakfast was included, this consisted of Eggs,Bacon and Sausages on Toast, delivered to your room, if you wanted anything else, such as the choice of a continental breakfast, it had to be paid for. We won't be back, mostly because of the rude, unhelpful manner of the staff member I dealt with when first trying to book, although the staff we encountered during our stay were fine.

We stayed at the Nirebo for three nights and on arrival were treated with the utmost friendliness and made feel welcome. Our room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfasts were all very enjoyable and beds comfortable. Position is perfect, as within walking distance of fine dining restaurants and shopping strips.

Room Tip: Queen Room on street side.

Stayed one night earlier this week as part of a business group. Difficult to access motel driveway as one side was blocked with a car which seemed to be permanently parked there! Reception process ok but no real breakfast service was available. Went to the nearby Beechworth Bakery next morning. My room was on the ground floor with parking directly outside. The room was small and quite dated but clean and comfortable. The motel is conveniently located within walking access to a wide selection of eating out options and tourist attractions. Reasonable value on a corporate rate but needs an update!

The location is great, but the room is very basic. The chairs are very uncomfortable, don't use if you have any back problems as they will make your back much worse. There package deals include a very basic breakfast- hope you like eggs every morning. The toilet roll holder is in a very awkward position, unless you are a contortionist. They have Austar, but no DVD or Blu-ray. I wouldn't stay there again.

Room Tip: Check online reviews before you book.

Arrived in the early evening ,check in was easy and the lady Tara in the very nice reception area was very helpful with where to eat etc .. Our room was on the front facing the road parking was handy ,the rooms are very dated, felt very 70s, smelt musty with cement rendered ceiling and dim lighting the air con didn't work light globes broken ( Tara was quick to replace batteries and globes ) On the whole the motel was let down by it poor dated state of decor although it was clean and handy location was the positives ,we would not stay again
