This is a stunning exhibition and well worth the trip. Well displayed, with so much information on the garments. But, I wouldn't expect anything less!

This gallery has an excellent permanent collection, and outstanding temporary exhibitions, the current one being of the work of the Spanish couturier Balenciaga. The gallery also has a very pleasant couple of cafes.

My third trip to Bendigo to see a major exhibition at the Art Gallery. Their ongoing relationship with the Victoria and Albert Museum in London really pays dividends. Close to the Bendigo CBD. It's really worth being on the Bendigo Art gallery email list to keep an eye on what's happening there. There are also free guided tours of the normal gallery space and they were also hosting a free exhibition of Aboriginal Batik art - stunning!

We had a great time going round the gallery. Loved the royals exhibition, even the kids enjoyed it. The free part is also well worth a visit. Shop has many different gift ideas.

WOW! This gallery is fabulous, I have wanted to come to this place for months and months, especially since they constantly have such amazing exhibitions. This time I was not going to miss out on the Balenciaga Exhibition from the V&A in London.
I think it is EXCESSIVELY important to have an art gallery with an adjoining restaurant in a city because it brings people together, even if they are not an art aficionado. It is rather like the local church or even pub, they are great for the community. Galleries though, definitely bring in a classy customer, something I noticed whilst visiting this past weekend.
