We had booked a stay with a family (2 young kids). The apartment itself is huge & nicely done, but to stay here is a bit of a nightmare. Parking is terrible as the chemist warehouse and other shops park in the very narrow lane were the car parking is located. So be prepared for a bit of unloading, stair-climbing etc. Once up the stairs its a nice old building but very noisy, the windows are not made for people to reside within, they let the noise and cold in. There was a street-sweeper driving laps for a few hours 5am-7am and even though it was at the end of the lane in the street it was like it was metres away. Then workers started on a nearby building at 7am on a Sunday. Both out of the control of the owners but they really ruin a holiday sleep in and you go home more tired than you began. I'd stay further out of town or drive home. For $240 a night, I just want a good nights sleep.
