I took a trip down memory lane on a couple of beautifully preserved trams, complete with interesting commentary. The full circuit takes just under an hour & you can hop on & off at various stops along the way. (Central Deborah gold mine, Charign Cross/Rosalind Park, tram depot, Lake Weeroona & Joss House). You can also upgrade your ticket to a 2-day pass, but unfortunately I had limited time so wasn't able to take up this option. Next time!

The passionate staff obviously enjoy their jobs & proudly gave me some of the trams' history. Kudos to conductors Mikelle & James who answered my questions & were lovely & friendly. I'll be back!

Taking the tram around the streets of Bendigo is a must! The lovingly restored trams rattle along Bendigo’s beautiful main streets giving you a perfect way to view many of the town’s grand buildings and landmarks. The tramway’s day pass provides the perfect way to travel to many of the city’s attractions. Don’t miss taking a ride.

Trams that trundle through the streets of Bendigo during the day. Decent sized route, and quite cheap, especially for a hop-on, hop-off ticket. Great information as well.

Went out on a really hot day, but tram was nice and breezy. All people involved were very passionate about what they do, so it was a joy for the whole family. Interesting historical facts spoken on loud speaker, slightly drowned out by the rattle, rattle of the antique rolling stock. But hey --- How authentic is that? Frank.

Thanks for the Must Do review! Great to see that you enjoyed the authenticity of the experience with your family, some of our trams are over 100 years of age. We are working with our tram crews to establish the optimal volume of the commentary for each tram. Hope to see you on board again soon.

Loved our vintage talking tram tour. We were able to take our little dog on the journey. The information along the journey was very informative and interesting. Riding on the old tram was a great experience and a great way to see Bendigo. We got on at the depot and the lovely lady in the gift shop was so friendly and loved chatting to our little dog. Highly recommend the tram tour when visiting Bendigo.

Thanks for visiting Lindy, it's great to see travelers enjoying the Vintage Talking Tram tour with their dogs. We've written a blog article on our website called The pawfect day out in Bendigo. It highlights all of the dog friendly parks, attractions and cafes which are easily accessible via Vintage Talking Tram. Hope to see you on board again soon.
