Cant miss it , as on the main highway in and out of Ballarat. Its looks lovely at night all lit up, and was built to commerate the sacrifices of our First World War diggers.

“Remember those who fought and died in war”
Reviewed February 17, 2014

The Victory Arch at the entrance to the Avenue of Honour is located on the West side of Ballarat.
If you would like to see this properly, you had better park the car on the side street as the traffic here is non stop, especially near the roundabout at the start. Many of the trees that continue down the avenue have plaque's commemorating fallen soldiers with their names.

“Blink and you miss it.”
Reviewed January 14, 2014

Beautiful Arch of Victory that has recently been restored. Has a good floral garden setting but also heaps of traffic. It is on a major roundabout so visit must be planned so that you get off to park car etc. Strong historical point of interest but if you are the driver blink and you will miss it. Traffic a bit unforgiving.

“Beautiful, historic monument.”
Reviewed January 2, 2014

So glad the city has started to take better care of this in recent years. You might just drive around it now and not even notice but, seriously, it's a lovely monument and a credit to Ballarat.

This gorgeous monument is a lovely piece of architecture on the west side of Ballarat. It is a lovely drive and well worth it to continue the full length
