Our room was lovely, the bathroom huge and the location (just a few minutes from the very centre of town) was great. What let this place down for us was the lack of staff on hand and the resultant lack of any "feel" to the place.
We rarely saw (or heard) other guests during our three nights and it sometimes felt like we were the only people there...this is often a good thing but here it was a just a little too quiet!

Thank you for your feedback Missi0nary.
We're pleased you found your room lovely and enjoyed our central location.
We've found that one of the attractions of our accommodation is that we are very quiet and peaceful. Staff are contactable by phone at all times and are happy to help in any way they can.
Thank you again for your comments.

This hotel is lovely. It has an old feel while being luxurious, exactly what we wanted. Beds are big and very comfortable. More hangers would be good in the wardrobe. Chairs to sit in and overall wonderful. We stayed in #5.

We were invited to a Magic Millions Preview event in Ballarat at Oscars’s Hotel and had to find accommodation at short notice when most were booked out for the Ballarat Cup. We found Ballarat Premier Apartments and was rated at 4 1/2 stars and that rating was well made. It is a beuutifully restored former doctor’s home and consulting rooms from last century. After many different owners over the years it was bought and stylishly restored with no expense spared. The entry foyer and stair well area have lovely art work and lavish chandeliers throughout. We took a Premier Plus room upstairs and was very well appointed with high ceilings of the day with a mini kitchen facility with full fridge and minibar offering. The bathroom is modern and stylish.

There is free off street uncovered parking but limited to about 4-5 spots but ample free parking in the quiet street.

The bed was huge and very comfortable but no view as the window is scalloped and purely to let light in. Ample wardrobe space and a large screen TV but whilst it has a menu with dozens of stations not all are available which can be a bit frustrating. Also the WiFi is not that strong.

We checked in at 2pm but were sent a text with a code for the key box at the front door. Worked well and my guess is that if you only have nine rooms it is hard to justify cost wise have somebody on reception all day.

Location is good as we were able to walk to our function venue in ten minutes or less in Doveton Street Sth.

Quality property, not cheap but price is justified by quality of fitout.

We are delighted you enjoyed the history and subsequent restoration of our property. We are proud of the remaining heritage features which compliment the modern additions beautifully.
We look forward to seeing you again next time.

I was in Ballarat, 10pm at night and all hotels were full. My friend found Premier Apartments- situated within walking distance to the entire town!!. From the outside it looked like an updated ex bank..but once inside the place just shone..I was totally amazed by the high white walls and ceilings, ultra clean and modern decor, gorgeous large chandeliers sparkled and my room was a dream and so, so clean. It was ultra clean and totally on trend with a large bed with a gold and black cover under yet another stunning chandelier. There was an amazing amount of room with a huge TV, a huge desk/table and a kitchen with everything you could need to make yourself comfortable for a week or more. The staff were the most friendly I have ever met and the room rate was much, much cheaper than any of the other run down hotels in and out of town- my advice is do not try anywhere else- you will be sorry if you miss this gem. This place is better than Quest AND a lot cheaper, not sure how they do it but, thank you for a great stay..miss the place already!!

Room tip: Any room at this hotel will make you happy
