I had a quick trip to Ballarat & decided on these apartments & noticed a very similar style to The Provincial. It’s well situated, walking distance to CBD. I wasn’t taken on Oscars, the recommended restaurant for meals, very busy & noisy, 2 vegan meals to choose from, service was slow. I think I’d prefer the Provincial again next time.
There was someone staying above, by the sounds of it with a young child, only thing was the noise really carried through. Beautifully decorated, good nights sleep, great little mini kitchen. I would possibly stay again, nice feel to the entrance and space.

We have stayed in room 1 many times and love it, even though it faces the street. There is no noise problem, the fire place is lovely.
It was a complete surprise when we booked this time.
We booked with Booking .com.
We booked room 9 with a spa bath, which was $220 and were given room 7 with no spa bath.

We should have gone to The George or the Fairway rooms at the Golsfields at Creswick .This room was a pitiful.

Room tip: Check what you book. I now no longer trust Booking.com. Do not stay in room 7 it is very ordinary.

Have stayed at this establishment many times and it only gets better.
We stayed with friends in there three bedroom apartment 11. Since our last stay in this appartment it has been renovated. I must say I preferred the old layout, as now you can hear the people in 11B which was part of 11 previously and with kids screaming and yelling it’s not so acceptable when you don’t have children of your own. Also the noise of the aircon motors which have not been turned off at night came straight through our bedroom. But don’t let that spoil things as this establishment is the best in Ballarat and by the way. We did get free breakfast at Oscars for our inconvenience. Thank you .
See you again soon.

Thank you for your feedback Therese H.

We are sorry your stay was disturbed by excess noise. We are currently looking into ways to reduce noise between the two apartments.

We're glad you enjoyed the complimentary breakfast at Oscars Hotel, and look forward to seeing you again.

We arrived late on Friday Night and used the code that had been sent via SMS to my mobile phone to retrieve the security pass from the key safe and went up to our beautiful room upstairs at the front of the building. For our two night stay everything went very well. The room was well appointed with comfortable beds and a very nice bathroom.
The only complaint that I have is that there is limited parking on the premises but you can park on the street in front of the building but that is restricted Monday to Saturday

Would not recommend this accommodation. No staff on premises at all apart from cleaners in the morning who cant help you with anything.Bookings organised from another accommodation venue in town. Manager overruled and help that phone staff offered. Manager on a power trip, arrogant and rude. Staff at checkout lied blatantly.

Room tip: Rooms over priced, nothing like photos
