On recommendation, I walked the 10 mins from the Best Western motel. Though the bar service was friendly, the table arrangements were fairly disorganized. One grabs a table and if it doesn't have a menu. One grabs a menu from another table. Eating alone, I didn't want to eat at a bigger table with a menu supplied. There didn't appear to ne a 'specials' menu, so I ordered from the menu. Never being a fish or steak eater I ordered the bruschetta & the beef burger. The bruschetta arrived fairly quickly, which comprised one roll almost a foot long, sliced lengthways with the usual tasty topping. The halves could have been toasted a bit longer and the topping was a bit moist which tended to make the bruschetta soggy. The burger was good, served in a locally baked savoury favoured roll. The salad bar had a limited selection. The dining area was ok, typical RSL. As the restaurant was gearing up for a big Christmas lunch the following day, and the presentation for that was quite festive, the subject of my next review. I'd definitely eat here again. though I'd stick to simple meals and until the kitchen staff improves, forget fish as per earlier reviews.
