Go here often for a catch up with friends, coffee great and looovvveee the almond croissant (can also pick up at harvest markets on a sat morning). Very kid friendly my toddler gets around the couches out the back and I,keep her out of the way of most patrons but staff are never bothered by her

Was visiting the nearby museum wanting something to eat in their café but closed. So off I went to Blue Café expecting a slightly bigger menu but choose the Bluefin crudo dish. Beautifully presented cubes of raw tuna served with the deliciously tasting olive oil. The tuna carved like butter and melted in my mouth I was impressed because if the fish has not been carved correctly it can be a chewy old boot. Wine list was good but a tad pricey was heading to a wine tasting next door so ordered a pot of tea instead. Service café was full Saturday lunch time was quick and knowledgeable.

Two visits - breakfast on a busy Sunday morning, and an attempt for a coffee one Tuesday afternoon.

The breakfast was excellent - nicely good poached eggs (hadn't been sitting in a bain marie) and a slab of bacon which is a nice touch. Coffee good rather than great, and plenty of free reading matter.

Coffee attempt - arrived not aware the cafe closed at 4pm. The waitress was clearly in a hurry to close, and a little short with us - a suggestion for an alternative might have been nice.

In short, the best breakfast in Launceston for some time.

Food is okay but so overpriced its ridiculous. The service was excellent and wait staff very attentive, atmosphere was great but I left feeling hungry.
