“Great lunch spot and good service”
Reviewed June 10, 2013 via mobile

Tasty choices for lunch from $13 for a delicious filling wonton soup to over $20 for pork belly. Coffee and tea options are high quality. Presentation and service make this a good choice for a work or leisure lunch. Easy parking close by.

“Delicious breakfast!!”
Reviewed May 20, 2013 via mobile

I frequent blue often generally for breakfast and its delicious! There isn't a thing on the menu I wouldn't eat! I absolutely love this cafe.

My only suggestion for the Chef would be with the ham and cheese calzone with a fried egg to use an Italian cheese like provolone.. Would just suit the dish a little better but other outstanding!

“Not good value for money”
Reviewed May 17, 2013

My daughter and I ate here today and were quite looking forward to the experience, having read previous reviews. Unfortunately we came away feeling hungry and slightly ripped off! We ordered 2 soft drinks, corn fritters, dumpling soup and a side of chick pea chips which set us back 55 dollars. The soup was barely 1.5 cups of broth with 2 dumplings; 3 small corn fritters with salsa and lettuce leaves and the chips were tasteless and light on for serving size. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

“Special Night”
Reviewed May 5, 2013 via mobile

Went here for a 60th Birthday, so the food was a set menu. Entree was finger food, Pumpkin & Sage fritters, these were delicious little mouthfuls, light and crunchy with a vinegar dipping sauce. Piscuitto and Motzarella balls with a creamy dipping sauce, also excellent. Both lovely and hot for a cold night. When seated there was 2 mains, alternate drop. I had the Blue Travelley, Asian salad, chat potatoes and a lemon butter, amazing tastes. He had Confit of Duck on Garlic Mashed potato and steamed beans, he ate the lot with a smile on his face. Dessert was pre bought cake which the staff cut and served. Drinks pre dinner were bought at the bar, quite pricey. Very nice staff, very cheerful. Flat floors so suitable for all mobilities. Nighttime when we went so unable to see much outside, think it might be a bit hidden away. Would go back next time in Launceston. Really nice venue, couches for intimate drinks.

“Great”
Reviewed May 5, 2013

We eat at the Blue Cafe every time we visit Lonnie for the footy, have had great food or service every time. Also a popular place for a drink and snack before and after the game.
