My husband & I are big fans of Indian cuisine, and this is one of the best Indian meals we've had in a long time. The food is beautiful, being cooked with a wonderful variety of spices. The service staff were knowledgeable and was good once it arrived (weird bell ringing system in use). The restaurant is quite dark, but once it's dark outside, it makes for a cosy evening. Price was a little more than we were expecting but was well worth it for the quality of the food. Highly recommended!

An amazing restaurant in the heart of the city. Great food, service and atmosphere. Traditional food with amazing flavors.

Traditional tandoori, slow cooked to perfection. Curries made from scratch with traditional spices and quality ingredients. Would recommend to all being a family favorite with dishes catering all.

Went here several times for birthdays, including my own and I have not been disappointed yet! Service is impeccable and the food is so flavoursome- my personal favourite is the Chicken Tikka Masala for just $18.90! Although the portions aren't huge, the food is guaranteed to fill you quickly. Give Pickled Evenings a try if you're looking for affordable and quality Indian food.

Enjoyed a tasty Indian meal at this restaurant last weekend. Remarkably good value for quality Indian cuisine. Great Lamb Rogan Josh and delectable Mango Kulfi. $35 pp for starters, two main dishes plus dessert and drinks left us feeling well served. Friendly and efficient service. Launceston is the beneficiary of the arrival of these recent migrants from the sub-continent. Give it a try if you're up for quality Indian food, having sampled the usual delights of the Apple Isle.

With a dinner for four planned, we decided to get a selection of dishes are share. The starters were good, but nothing overly creative. The main meals were ok, but I found that the curries lacked a depth in flavour. The service was attentive, but didn't make up for the lack of expectation in the food. Things have slowly improved, but IMHO need to improve faster.
