I first ate at Stillwater Restaurant with a group of 16 people for a celebratory dinner, over 3 years ago and it was sensational food, service and value. Lunching there this week, I was pleasantly surprised that the consistency has been maintained. Drinking Moo Brew Dark Ale (a Tasmanian speciality beer), I chose slow cooked lamb wrap with caramelised onion and hollandaise and a side salad, followed with a cappuccino (excellent) and a sweet treat of fig cake with double cream (to die for!). Just wish I lived in Launceston so that I could be a 'regular' at Stillwater.
Oh and the service was professional and friendly.
