“Great restaurant”
Reviewed June 29, 2013

Ate here last night: service is friendly and efficient. Enjoyed dips to start and then steak. Steak was expertly cooked. Will definitely return here. Oh yes, their coffee is superb.

“Great lunch!”
Reviewed June 25, 2013 via mobile

Excellent lunch with 2 friends. Food was brilliant, service brilliant. Would recommend :). One thing I will say is bring a jumper. That's getting far to silly however. I just had to fill my review to past 100 characters.

Excellent :)

“Good coffee”
Reviewed June 14, 2013

We only had coffee an hot chocolate which were both very good. Service was prompt inefficient. There were plenty of people in the place too and the staff had no problem handling a busy period of the day.

We bring our visitors here for a casual dinner when they are in Launceston. Great food, generous portions and attentive, friendly service.

“Dissapointed with Service & Staff”
Reviewed April 24, 2013

Everytime we go here we are dissapointed but we keep trying every 6 months or so to see if they have improved but the last sunday was the last chance for this restaurant! On booking the staff member sounded like she had a hangover, when we sat down my friend ordered a orange juice with my coffee. I had finished my coffee and our meals came by a different staff member ( which breakfast is as expensive as mains) she asked for her orange juice again which was brought immediately by that girl. 10 minutes into eating our mains the original girl turned up with the orange juice! What the! When we went to pay were told they dont split the bill and its on the menu ( which we didnt notice as we were catching up as you do when you meet with friends or brunch) she was quite insistant that she would not split the bill and we said "well how are we to pay as in this cashless society we dont carry cash" (especially not enough to cover that expensive brunch). She relented in the end after us standing uncomfortably like beggars for 5 minutes. Overall I found the staff rude, incompetent the meals overpriced and it was not a pleasant place to catch up with friends. Definately will not go back ever again.
