Curry and rice with naan bread and a soft drink for ten bucks! Nice atmosphere, attentive staff and very tasty food - without the burn!

Don't order the naan. Naan was dry, thin and small. Half of it is burnt and they still serve it. Normally 1 naan would be enough for 1 person, but here we have to order 3 naans per person and would still be hungry afterwards. Portions are small. Usually biryani are cooked using basmati rice, however they are using starchier rice so the biryani is gummy and the rice clumpy. Taste of the briyani is fine but texture of rice is not good. Again, small portion of biryani serving. When we complained about the naan, we were told that this is how its always been done and that we are not Indian implying that we don't know what we are talking about. Avoid this place!

This is my first negative. After a week long holiday in the beautiful Tassie wanted to come back to some good Indian food and did the mistake of getting a take away from this place. Easily the worst food we had eaten thus far. Burnt tasteless biryani which we had to throw away.. The chap behind the phone sounded great but I am sorry you need to change your cook..

Tried the evening sitting which was a tad more expensive than the lunchtime specials we had tried before, but still good value at around $15. Naan bread is cooked fresh and full of flavour. Only downside - don't serve coffee. Polite service - non intrusive.Great for people on a budget. Will return.

This place is just down the road from me so we regularly eat here. They also do takeaways. The butter chicken and garlic naans are sensational. Really well priced. Had a few times where the takeaways have taken a while and the naans have been overcooked but mostly pretty spot on. Their $10 lunch special is a bargain too!
