We spent 5 nights and the beds were comfortable. The heaters were on for our arrival. So much care. Very impressed. Kitchen was well thought through and well supplied.
Wonderful views to down town and Trevellyn. Will be back.
Great house, spacious, clean, well stocked and centrally located. The washing machine, line, drying rack (with pegs) and dryer were most appreciated after 10 days of travelling. The kitchen was modern with a big fridge. The kids were very excited about the Internet access. Beds were comfortable.
We stayed with another couple and with two large bedrooms, large bathroom and separate toilet we had plenty of room. Everything was well kept, very clean and kitchen was well supplied. Beds were very comfortable with good quality linen. It is a short walk to cafes, parks and the cbd, with lovely views. They don't supply toiletries or toilet paper so bring your own, but it was a great stay.
The house is within 5 minutes walking distance of the CBD. The house is very well maintained offering all that is needed for a family of five or two couples. Excellent facilities including washing machine and dryer. Kitchen was well equipped. The views from the verandah, dining room and lounge offered lovely views of Launceston. Peter kept in touch to ensure we were happy and didn't want for anything. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend the property to fellow travellers.

The house is clean and modern inside. It is a short distance to centre of town. You can walk to visit the monkeys at City Park for free. The Le Café has great breakfasts and is only 5 minutes walk away from the house if you don't want to cook.. If you like Thai food, Buddha Thai Restaurant has great fresh tasting dishes and you must have the organic coffee! There is pretty scenery to get to Bridport but a windy drive. You can drive out of Launceston to other towns in such a short time. The cataract gorge is worth seeing too. People are friendly.
Other reviewers have commented on the quality of the fittings and furnishings and I would have to agree. We stayed in the cottage when the Launceston weather was cold, extremely windy and raining heavily. It was a real test of the heating system and it performed admirably.
The cottage is situated high on one side of the valley overlooking the CBD. It was an older style cottage that had been completely renovated and modernised on the inside whilst preserving the external appearance of the original cottage. The owner has provided all that was needed in a self contained cottage. Note that street parking outside the cottage is the only option. However this presented no difficulties during our stay. There are very good views over the CBD from the verandah which would be a very pleasant place to sit when the sun is shining. The wifi worked well and there is no extra charge unlike some of the large hotels. Would definitely stay here again

Fantastic stay at this well situated house. Has everything a family needs to self cater. The kids loved the games and we enjoyed a wine out on the balcony. Beds were comfy. Will recomend to family and friends. Thanks Peter
