Seven of us attended. Table was suitable for six. A number of both entres and mains were excellent, unfortunately the deep fried entries/mains were overcooked and on the whole tasteless. Very disappointed

Whilst holidaying in Launceston, we visited this restaurant after discovering it on Trip Advisor. The food was delicious, fresh and innovative at reasonable prices; some of the best Japanese food we've had in a long time. All this, together with efficient and friendly service, enticed us back for a second visit the following night. We were sorry we were leaving Launceston the next day, otherwise we'd have returned again!

This place is very well worth a visit. It is very fresh, well cooked Japanese food. Not gourmet but Japanese favourites done well. We really enjoyed the freshness of the sashimi and the rice with the sushi is the best we have had in Tasmania. The flavours are what you expect in good Japanese food, fresh with the ingredients taking center stage. the prices are very fair for food of this quality.

It is a family run business near the park. As other reviewer state it is only a small room so book on a Friday or Saturday night. we will be returning regularly if they maintain their standards.

Four of us booked a table here on a Friday evening & the place was humming. The dining area isn't huge so I'd suggest reserving a table. I can recommend ordering lots of different entrees and sharing. Food was very tasty & I was impressed with the quality of the seafood in particular. Don't expect to turn up and be eating straight away, there's a bit of a wait but it's definitely worth it. Friendly & attentive staff. I'd be happy to go back again.
