“Best Coffee in Tassie”
Reviewed October 26, 2013

Probably the best coffee experience during our visit to Tassie. It is not an upmarket coffee shop so don't expect wonderful tables and chairs but if you want a decent coffee this is the place to go in Launceston.

“Good for takeaway coffee”
Reviewed October 8, 2013

Wasn't very impressed, I like to sit and enjoy a coffee, this place doesn't have much space and not much privacy to sit and talk.

I've visited most cafe's for coffee around Launceston and this isn't one I'll visit again.

Great coffee, great atmosphere. Launceston needs more places like this. has a very cool vibe and staff suit the feel they are going for.

“Great Coffee and Feeling”
Reviewed October 2, 2013

This is definitely café -great coffee and a limited selection of snack food. It opens early - 7AM - and at that time has a steady stream of regular local customers.

The coffee is VERY good and the staff very friendly - they seem to know the regular well.

Seating is limited to a bar at the window and large communal table.

Daily papers (there at 7 AM) and an eclectic mix of magazines add to the vibe.

This is a great place and if you appreciate great coffee and very unpretentious staff - then COME HERE!

The place has a commitment to local suppliers - from coffee to milk and food.

Located in central Launceston - a good spot to refuel during the day, But it does close at 5 PM and not open on weekends.

“Not a restaurant - but the best coffee in town.”
Reviewed September 28, 2013

Unfortunately, this is where the Tripadvisor website is inadequate. Yes, this is not a restaurant. However, good Espresso bars are there for one purpose - to make great coffee. And Amelia does that beautifully. They also make wonderful muffins if you get in early enough. Friendly service. If you love coffee, you should visit here as often as you can while in Launceston
