“Stunning outlook”
Reviewed September 27, 2013

Beautiful part of Tasmania. A must for everyone to visit! Beautiful walks of varying degrees to suit all fitness levels. Kids loved the chairlift for which there is a fee cant remember the price but not over priced! and the view when standing on the bridge is stunning of the water below and the surrounding hills. Not a far drive drive out of Launceston itself only about 5 mins. This attraction is worn a visit and also has a lovely cafe & outdoor dimming pool for summer months would be greAt for the kids.

“Big Walk”
Reviewed September 27, 2013

Loved it. It is a good walk around the Gorge. A really tuff walk which we didnt attempt as we were just not fit enough but there is another walk along the gorge which is fine. Lovely spot, allow a couple of hours to wander

“Lovely place and very handy”
Reviewed September 25, 2013

We were there just after heavy rain and so the gorge was thundering down under the suspension bridge. Pademelons were ambling around in one spot, and plenty of early Spring flowers were out. Very pretty and a good place to spend a couple of hours close to the city.
I think you could manage wheel-chair access but only with a strong person to help drive it. The paths are quite undulating and long.

“Lovely scenery”
Reviewed September 25, 2013

Enjoyed a visit to Cataract Gorge which is a must if you are in Launceston. The cafe was expensive but served lovely food - we had a great brekky there before catching the chairlift to the other side and wandering back over the bridge. Fun morning.

“My most favourite place”
Reviewed September 24, 2013

One of my most favourite places on earth. Right near the city and when in flood the water roars down the gorge from the power station.
Love Love love!!!
