Lovely park on the edge of town, had a chairlift, swimming pool, kiosk. Perfect place for a picnic. Good walking trails. Brilliant views

Been twice now to Cataract Gorge once in spring and once in Autumn. Both times, a breathtaking experience would definitely add it to a must see list for Launceston.

It was an easy walk in through cataract gorge and picturesque. Lovely scones at the old café, a wonderful chairlift ride over the other side of the gorge and a bracing hike over the zigzag track back into Launceston. A 'must do' for visitors.

This reserve is absolutely stunning!!!! The scenery is beautiful!!! All the animals in this reserve are so unique and beautiful! All the walking tracks make it so much fun! There are so many activities such as a pool, food and the chairlift. The chairlift was fantastic. A must-do for anyone visiting Launceston!

There's not a lot to do in Launceston, but on a sunny day a walk to the gorge is beautiful and animals are everywhere. Only 10 minutes walk from the centre of town. Beware the price of the cable-cars, a total rip-off.
