Lots to do: walks, chairlift, swimming, and picnicing. The views where amazing. The chairlift ride is a must and not terribly expensive. Awesome swimming pool facilities. Beware the peacocks when you are eating. They will steal by any means. The only let down was the pricey bad food.

We went for a walk up to the gorge to the chair life. It was a beautiful walk and the view from the lift is stunning! Make sure you take a camera. It is a great place to take the family with a large swimming pool along with the natural swimming holes at the gorge. We didn't eat at the cafe but the food surely look wonderful! Would highly recommend visiting.

Visiting the gorge in Feb we avoided the crowds. The tranquility and beautiful gardens were a lovely surprise. A nice interlude but not a whole day event.

A little oasis on the fringe of the city. Nice range of facilities and don't forget your camera as there are so many beautiful vistas. Parking is on a pay and display basis so think carefully about how long you might want to spend there. We did the main walk and had a look around and were there for about 90 mins but if you want to do longer walks (there are a few) and swim (the water is cold) you will need a lot longer.

We were pleasantly surprised by the Gorge. Rocks, greenery, rushing water, swing bridge, tracks for the fitter people.
