I loved the views and the facilities were excellent. It would have been good if the 'rides' (the chairlift and inclinator) were open a little later on the beautiful summer evenings.

What a fantastic spot right in the centre of town! Great day out with lots of super walking trails, interesting flora, peacocks and a cool chair lift. A must visit!

We had been to Cataract once before , but it was during May and not such a nice day...so my memory of it wasnt that high. On this visit we had a beautiful hot summers day and it saw it in an entirely different perspective. We walked from Home Port along the boardwalk to the city, up through City Park & then back through the city to Patterson Bridge & through Cataract Gorge as far as the suspension nridge. A nice way to spend a sunny afternoon. The reserve area with all the flowers blooming looked very nice & it was nice to see all the kids enjoying themselves in the water

Free pool for the kids. Great scenery. Enjoyed the chair lift and the cable bridge. A surprise package in the middle of Launceston. Car parking is in short supply

Loved the peacocks and wallabies that roamed the park. We entered via Kings Bridge on the "easy walk" side and came back on the "harder hike" side. Definitely not an easy return walk unless you are fairly fit and don't mind steep elevation, but if you're not up for that you can simply go back the 'easy' way. Worth a visit!
