we have actually had many bad experiences with Pizza Capers and no longer use their establishment. Found better pizza's for the same price at another local shop. Although when they first opened the pizza's were exceptional, once they had an established clientele, the service and quality of the product declined dramatically.

We ordered pizzas from Pizza Capers with expectations, as we are accustomed to paying more for higher quality pizzas from the Crust chain in NSW & being really happy with flavours& toppings, but unfortunately Pizza Capers wasn't anywhere near as good. The pizzas were ok & the pickup process was a little slow. But then again, we have since ordered from Dominos in Launceston, which was absolutely dreadful, so are reconsidering our expectations for take-away pizza in Launceston - still a few other options to try...
No doubt we'll give them another shot, but for the price there are better options, such as Flip Burgers.

We've had takeaway from here a couple of times. Nothing flash - just an improvement on the other chain stores. It certainly doesn't warrant such a high rating on Trip Advisor.

A great variety of gourmet toppings to choose from, but they are on the pricey side. Both our large pizzas were fresh and tasty, however, the bases were very thin and a tad undercooked. If you have a normal male appetite a large is easily polished off because of the thin base and minimal toppings.

For out-of-towners: if you park in the 24/7 car park behind pizza capers, make sure you get a ticket from them to place on your dashboard while you wait to pick up your pizza, otherwise you will need to pay for parking.

Great pizzas
Visited 14/3/2013 after 7.30pm

The young girl on the till was too busy chatting and playing games with the staff at the rear of the restuarant and it left the customers feeling that they were not welcome.

The food was great but I think their oven needs a bit of calibration. The pizzas were hot on the top and bottom, but cold in the middle.

I hope the owners rectify this as they have so much opportunity to have a great business.
