“Nice surprise”
Reviewed February 6, 2014

Recently ate here with my wife, a pleasant place for lunch, we both had the meatball risotto finished by chocolate tart desert topped off with Tassie wine, all at a reasonable price.

“Disappointing breakfast”
Reviewed January 30, 2014

We were directed here by Amelia Espresso as we wanted a cooked breakfast. We ordered scrambled eggs on toast, smashed potato with chorizo + fried egg and fresh vegetable juices. The drinks were fine although a bit pricey. The smashed potato dish comprised of whole potato but worst of all, the chorizo was very fatty and inedible. We were told later on that they make their own chorizo but it certainly does not taste a quarter of a Spanish chorizo.
The eggs were OK. Service was just OK, when delivering drinks to tables staff should not hold the glass at the top where the person is going to drink from. The ambience was relatively good, but what really annoyed us was their front door which does not open and close properly. To close it patrons had to slam it, therefore every time someone entered or left there was this cacophony that destroyed the atmosphere.

“Amazing food and service, but expensive”
Reviewed December 31, 2013 via mobile

We ate here a couple of months ago and we're really taken with the food and service which were both very good. We nearly died though when we got the bill. It's the kind of place where they feed you what's on offer which I really like, but it would be good to have some idea about the cost before you start. I don't think we will go back, even though the food was really good.

“Real Coffee”
Reviewed December 12, 2013 via mobile

"Do what you do well" is a how I would describe PX cafe. Quirky, contemporary with excellent coffee. Locals who 'get' the mind of its owner operator, Damon, can fully enjoy everything that's on offer. Tired of cafe staff 'going through the motions'? Then come to PX for a authentic and unpretentious approach to good food and the best coffee. Keeping it real! Regards, Terry

“Arrogant”
Reviewed November 17, 2013 via mobile

The head waiter is rude. The food made us feel sick. The coffee was ok. The other waitress wouldn't look you in the eye. No one asked or offered us table water. Strange place.
