Currently staying here and we are really impressed wiith the staff, amenities and standard. We had dinner here last night and it was great. Service was fantastic, wine list had some good local wines and the food was free range. I can't believe some of the puerile comments made by chocChipMuv, about this place. Not enough carparks, but they never had a problem finding one? Non disclosure of the hotel being a decommissioned hospital? Give me a break! Recommend this place to anyone looking for a boutique stay in Launceston. Oh, and just for the record, it's less than a 10 min walk into town.

The location is really convenient. I usually stay at the Country Club but this is a more convenient location, friendlier and much better value. Rooms are very comfortable. Breakfast in the restaurant was very good.

The rooms are compact but really nicely (and logically) designed. In Tasmania, it was refreshing to have a modern interior instead of the endless faux antique interiors with lots of fussy floral fabric. Rates were reasonable when we stayed in December 2012. It's located near a number of good restaurants and cafes and is quite quiet as it's at the end of Charles st. Parking is ample and free, there's also free wifi. Staff are friendly, highly recommended.

Nice modern hotel in the centre of Launceston. Close to restaurant and can walk to the cataract gorge. The service was pretty good, with an excellent breakfast selection. Our key did stop working after returning on one afternoon, but it was resolved very quickly.

Stayed there at the end of a long week-end trip around the Tamar Valley. The room was super modern, nicely decorated, clean. Very quiet in the morning. And fairly central location. Haven't tried the restaurant, which is meant to be very good according to the locals. Just a slight disappointment as I had an expectation that there would be views given the hotel is located on top of a hill but the only view we had was to the carpark.
