I really loved this place. Huge hotel, with huge bedrooms, and excellent ensuite kitchenette. Modern, clean, lovely bathrooms and toiletries.
Fabuolous 60's theme to the hotel. Think funky furniture and decor. Excellent location, near to town, Big car park. Great lounge and bar area. Good restaurant.
Staff really friendly and helpful.

Nice modern hotel with funky decor and room to move around. Very convenient free onsite parking, handy location and friendly staff. There was really nothing to fault, which is a rarity in hotels these days (even 5 star ones). Will definitely stay here again, especially if we get the same deal of a free upgrade to the Studio King Room.

Room Tip: Have breakfast at "Aroma's" (diagonally opposite the hotel). Great food and atmosphere.

This is an excellent hotel, we stayed here three nights at the start of our holiday and then nearly three weeks later had our final night here before flying home. It's amazing that it used to be a hospital, and unless someone told you that you'd never know. It's a great location, easy walking distance to cafes, restaurants, and shopping. We walked everywhere from here. The entire hotel is tastefully modern. It was a little dearer than other properties we looked at however it was definitely worth the money and we would stay here again if we were visiting Tasmania.

The Charles was perfect for our needs as we visited Launceston for two days. Our room was fresh and modern, the staff friendly and the location within an easy (c.15 minutes) walk from the centre of town.
