Don't be put off from the lacking street appeal, or the decor once you are inside.
The salads are a token gesture at best but let's be honest it's all about the meat, it's tasty, tender and cooked perfectly. Perfect family atmosphere.

4 adults attended for first time. All fussy steak eaters.
The place as per other reviews is simple and no atmosphere but that's ok.
The steak was good but nothing special but would eat it again.
The salad/coleslaw that comes with the steak is terrible
Not of us ate the salad and nearly everyone in the restauarant was the same as plates being taken away had no steal left but this white mash left which ruined the meal.
I might go back for a steak but will ask for no salad

Visiting from Perth I came here with the boss who was paying.

First of all - turn the extractor fans down to let some of the smoke and flavour permeate. When you walk into a bbq joint you expect to smell bbq. Nothing.

Ordered the mixed grill with lamb. The porterhouse was overcooked. Lamb was definitely not lamb but mutton. Ok but chewy.

Sausages were very good.

Other than that the beer was cold and the waitress attentive and the prices compared to Perth were very reasonable.

Wouldn't come back in a hurry.

This is a great restaurant for true BBQ steak, lamb, saussage served with salad. Service is friendly and efficient, the owners are fantastic and so friendly and the restaurant is simple and clean!

Every time I come home to Adelaide I love to enjoy a simple yet delicious meal that is well priced.

Enjoy - if you go for simple quality BBQ you will not be dissapointed!

Not a romantic or luxurious spot for couples and not trying to be, it is all about good meat cooked well.
