We were a bit worried by some of the bad reviews last year but the 2 bedroom apartment we had, number 902 was great, nice views, a fantastic location and the carpets and furniture etc. were fine. A couple of broken curtains but not as bad as some of the other reviews, I guess each apartment is different.

You can't beat Liberty Towers for location, across the road from 2 big parks, about 2 minutes to the beach and marina, and 5 minutes to Jetty Road for the cafes and restaurants, but reasonably quiet at night except for the odd hoon driving down Colley Terrace "cruising".

We'd stay there again.

Some people were frustrated that their rooms weren't ready to check in at 3:00pm (on Sunday 2nd January) but ours was ready so we were OK. They were full for New Years Eve so I assume this wouldn't normally be a problem for checkin on a "normal" day. The lifts worked fine for us, and the car parking was no problem - $15 per night is cheaper than the public car parks in Glenelg.

The indoor pool and gym is pretty basic, but we preferred the beach anyway. We didn't use the sauna or steam room.

We went to Adelaide Zoo and saw the Pandas, we were within a couple of metres of them for a while, so the queue is definitely worth it.

Our stay was absolutely fantastic. The room and house keeping was average and no different to a lot of 5 star accomodation elsewhere. However, the location of the apartments and the sea views we had were absolutely first class.
Management and staff did everything to make our stay comfortable and were extremely polite and helpfull every time.
We would return there on holiday without hesitation and highly recommend this facility.

Having previously stayed here before, I was a little disapointed at how run down the rooms appeared with dirty stains, broken curtains, bad pillows.
Not very clean either.

Booked online. Looked good on the Internet. Promise of good apartments, facilities and location. We arrived from the airport early (before 8am) and were told that we couldn't get into a room before 2pm. Fair enough, we parked the car and left bags in the boot and were told that we'd be called when the room was ready. Never heard a peep from them. Room was a good size but very dirty. Marks all over the Walls and carpets.

Given that the apartments are clearly self catering and marketed at people on holiday it would have been good to have had a slightly more generous level of provisions in the cupboard. Salt? Pepper? Dish washing liquid? No! I know its not the end of the world but i've stayed in cheaper places and it's not a big cost to provide.

Other gripes?

Every day a house elf comes through the apartment and moves things around. Puts the dishwasher on when it really doesn't need to go on. It's not an hotel so why do they do it? Today all our recyclables were taken off the draining board and taken away without any word. Normally i'd be pleased but this is South Australia and they had monetary value albeit a token value. Bit baffled by it all.

Soon after moving in we heard the building evacuation alarm go off. No announcement at all. As it happened we were leaving anyway and I politely enquired as to what was going on. Alarm testing! No signage, no audible broadcast announcement, no warning from the concierge. Not impressed.

For the price we paid would have expected better all round.

The best thing that can be said is that the location is good.
