Came here with a friend for a catch up and to have a nice relaxed meal but this was anything but. We were rushed to order and as soon as our mains were finished we were being stood over to order dessert. We had 3 waiters at one stage hovering over our table. Not sure why as there weren't exactly people queuing for a table.
I ordered spinach gnocchi and it was awful. Heavy and stodgy, not the way gnocchi should be. My friend had canneloni and said it was very nice. Intended to have desserts but the prices were ridiculous.
This restaurant has certainly had its day. I think the owners need to realise that there are far better restaurants in Adelaide, both in terms of food and value.

My wife and I had dinner here; we shared an entree and each had a main of risotto and linguine. Plus 3 glasses of wine, the bill came to $130, nice food but ouch!

The restaurant is located in an older style cosy house, it felt like a typical Italian restaurant with lots of masks from Venice around the walls. It's located about 50m back from the Glenelg beach. Good service, however they got very busy as the night went on and when I asked for the bill it never came - we had to go to the counter and chase it up 10 minutes later. Most dinners were baby boomers and appeared to be "locals".
