I love eating Greek food so after we moved to Glenelg, Adelaide tracked down all the local Greek Restaurants. This restaurant is the most popular and is always booked out a couple of weeks in advanced. Whenever we drive by it is always packed.
Unfortunately the restaurant whilst it feels brand new has tables very closely stuffed in so there is not very much room to move and chairs were always bumping the next table. We were also seated right in front of the front door so were knocked by that every few minutes. It is also extremely noisy. So go as a family as you will be making noise as well but as a couple (who were just looking for food not a romantic night out) it did not work as we could not hear ourselves think.
The menu is missing many Greek classics... there is no Moussaka or Haloumi! The menu has dips and calamari which pretty much comprise the entree and the mains are just meat meat and meat served with salad and chips. So there was a lot of Greek mising from the menu and the feel of the meals... although the meals are HUGE.
We won't be back as we didn't like the food... it was like commercial pub food not classic Greek food. It was noisy although that can suit the right group.
Whilst we won't go back.... the restaurant is always packed and booked out weeks in advanced... maybe Adelaidians don't know what real Greek food is?
