“One of the best in Glenelg”
Reviewed February 21, 2012

This is probably my favourite casual dine-in or take-away restaurant in Glenelg. It's unpretentious and doesn't have the views that some of the beach-side restaurants do but the food is always fabulous - particularly for the low costs.
I can never go past the basil and lime beef or the chilli and garlic morton bay bugs. Delicious and generous servings. This is a family friendly Vietnamese restaurant and although the wine list isn't extensive, you should be able to find something to suit your palate. You will certainly love the food and the friendly service.

“One of my favourite places in Glenelg to eat”
Reviewed January 27, 2012

Food is fantastic and service is great . We go there very often and it is always great. The staff always remember your name and what we like to order.

Morten bay bugs are to die for so is the duck in plum sauce, tamarind fish (this is the only fish I eat!) & Chilli lime beef.

YUM!!!

“This is a great Asian restaurant”

Really good service, food always good. The decor is a little naff though typical of many of its type.

“best Vietnamese food outside of vietnam”
Reviewed July 21, 2011

After 4 weeks away in Vietnam the first thing after you get of a plane to do is sleep. The second is eat. What do you crave for... Vietnamese food.It's4 degrees when you get out of the plane, all I wanted when I woke up was comfort food.Pho.. I need Pho,down to Jetty road.First was Pho,so good, as good as the saigon Pho,rich stock, noodles and the plate of fresh herbs and lemon and bean shoots.Second course was bbq quail, yum, yum, yum, finger licking good.third course Salt and pepper chicken,if they could put it in a Chip packet and sell it over a bar to have with a beer or a wine they would be millionaires,so moorish even when your full you fit in one more piece. Then Basil lime beef, rare beef,no fat, sprinkled with Basil and fresh lime juice, can't describe it till you taste it.Thuy Linh is a small restaurant on Jetty rd.Vietnamese family run.Mum and dad are the chefs, assisted by their soninlaw.Their daughter Anna runs front of house along with her sister Nhe and family.Great value, Awesome food, informal atmosphere.Byo $10 also take away. This is the Vietnam we go to when we are not in Vietnam.
