“Wonderful”

One of the best places I have ever stayed. Like a luxury hotel but without all the hustle of lots of other guests. Everything is impeccable while retaining old world charm. Quiet and relaxing. Wonderful hosts. Superb breakfast. If you are travelling to or through Toowoomba, don't miss it.

Room Tip: There are two rooms at different prices. Both are good Talk to your hosts about the choice.

I have been lucky enough to stay with Margaret and Steve twice now. What a delightful haven. A beautiful home and garden with gracious hosts and absolutely delicious food. I certainly agree with everything the other reviewers have said. You feel very special and cared for when you stay here! My only hesitation in writing this review is a totally selfish one. I'd like this place to be a well-kept secret! Whether you are in Toowoomba for business (as I was), a couple wanting some restful time away, or two couples booking both rooms if you're in town for a wedding or function, Wanulla is just perfect. The value-for-money is exceptional.

I had an extended stay at this B&B and just adored it. Attention to detail was high and the house was beautifully furnished with a lovely garden. It is in an ideal location, just around the corner from Queens Park and walking distance to the town centre. The hosts Margaret and Steve were excellent and went out of their way to assist. Every day my bed was turned down and room cleaned, there was a full breakfast with a spectacular array of local fruits and yoghurts and homemade bircher muesli. Afternoon tea and biscuits/ or wine and horderves were also offered. I would recommend staying in the larger room however the smaller has a lovely new ensuite.

My husband and I recently stayed for one night at Wanulla. What a fantastic experience! Did not want to leave.
Marg & Steve run a truly excellent B & B and made us feel that their home was our home. The food and service were wonderful right from the afternoon tea on arrival to the splendid breakfast the next day. Our room was immaculate with an attention to detail that was second to none. An absolute must for anyone considering time in Toowoomba area.

Me and my partner travelled to Wanulla on the 29th of November, 2013, with the intention of spending 2 nights there, and loved it so much that we had to stay another. Margaret and Steve were the best hosts that you could ever want, and went above and beyond to help us make the most of our time in Toowoomba.Their breakfast and afternoon tea was delicious, and their home is absolutely gorgeous, and the fact that they are willing to open it up to anyone speaks volumes of how honest and caring this couple are. I would highly recommend Wanulla to anyone travelling to Toowoomba, regardless of how long you intend on staying, as it was, quite simply, excellent.

Room Tip: The second (Queen-sized) bedroom has a recently renovated bathroom, which includes a bath. All rooms...

My husband and I recently stayed at B&B Wanulla for 3 nights over the Christmas period to visit family in the Toowoomba area. Margaret and Steve are exceptional hosts who made us feel so welcome during the festive season. The accommodation is beautifully appointed and the attention to detail in the guest suites and other spaces has to be seen to be believed. The breakfasts are of a very high standard as is the afternoon tea (we felt very spoilt indeed). Our generous hosts really did make our Christmas stay one to remember. We will always remember our time spent at Wanulla with fondness and look forward to returning in the future.

We returned to Wanulla B&B for a one night stay on Xmas Eve this year as a base for visiting family. It is an ideal location and an easy walk to Queens Park which suited perfectly for the Xmas lights display. Steve and Margaret are wonderful hosts and very flexible. We were offered an extensive afternoon tea on arrival mid afternoon which we could not finish. The room is very comfortable and well appointed and even has AC now. Once again breakfast time was flexible which suited as we visited family on Xmas morning and then returned to to a varied and delightful feast. They are wonderful hosts and nothing is a trouble for them. We will return
