While the location is beautiful and the food is not terrible, this is not enough to make up for the average service. I went to this restaurant for breakfast on the weekend with my family and we all walked away bitterly disappointed. The menu had a good selection and was very cheaply priced. However the attitude and rudeness of the staff (not just some of them, but all of them) was a disgrace. Would never recommend this restaurant to anyone and will never go back.

Last night we had the pleasure of dining at Aqua on Broadwater for the first time. We frequent this restuarant mid-week for their breakfast special, but had never experienced their lunch/dinner menu. What a delight! From the moment we arrived, the service was immaculate. Welcomed by the maitre 'd and shepherded to our cosy corner booth overlooking the restaurant, we had menus and iced water on the table immmediately, and a taramalasata, tzatziki and babaganoush trio with warm pita bread to enjoy as we contemplated the menus. The wine list showcased some excellent varietals -- we were delighted with the Haw and Hill sav blanc from the Adelaide Hills, and impressed to see some Granite Belt vintages from Witches Falls represented.

The menu at Aqua is excellent -- for those on a budget they have a diverse specials page at a very reasonable $15.90 for dinner, $12.90 for lunch, options inclusive of steak, scallop linguine, seafood risotto and veal/chicken scallopine. There is a strong Greek influence to the menu -- we chose the Mykonos medley platter to share and a chicken/lamb platter. The Mykonos platter is seafood heaven, and comes with a bottle of house wine. We were pleasantly suprised with the shiraz -- a ruby with hints of white pepper, barely there tannins and a berry driven bouquet -- divine! The platter consisted of lobster mornay, tender flash fried scored calamari, honey soy baby octupi, prosciutto wrapped scallops, prawn skewers, greek salad and chunky hand carved chips -- sensational! The seafood was cooked to melt in your mouth perfection, as was the chicken and lamb platter. We were very impresssed with the food, the service and wine and look forward to a long Sunday lucnch overlooking the Broadwater very soon mmm mmm!
