We arrived mid afternoon put in room 209 road noise horrendous windows rattled at times noise continues all night when I complained in the morning the lady at reception said nobody else has complained and said you must be a light sleeper which I am not

The lady told me to contact whoever I booked the room with I told her it was Classic Holidays she said she had nothing to do with them although she had a Classic Holidays blouse on bit strange
A lady phoned me from CH did no disagree with me regarding the noise and moved us to one room for 2nights and another for 7 nights which was much better
On speaking to other people staying some use ear plugs but most agreed it was noisy

Toilet in room is white / wash hand basin and spa bath in room dark beige very dated and does not give a good impression
Positioned well in the gold coast spa on roof top and swimming pool good but no balcony unlike surrounding apartments
My daughter is a Classic Holidays member she sent an email complaining about the whole matter never received a reply even to acknowledge her e mail

Room Tip: Check with trip advisor first go for an apartment with double glazing

The rooms are quite lovely, with good use of mirrors and windows for lots of light in the main area. Spectacular views, pool was excellent, efficient and friendly staff. Perfect location with an easy walk to shopping, dining, and the beach, with bus stops right outside. Car parking could be improved though.

The sound proofing between the rooms was great, we never heard a peep out of our neighbours nor a single complaint for our own noise. On the top floor you can hear the rooftop spa motors very well, but since the spa closes at 10pm that was fine. The biggest problem was the noise coming in through the windows which don't appear to be soundproofed nearly as well as the walls. You could hear the highway near perfectly at night, along with the shrieks of excited clubgoers. Both those things are to be expected in this sort of location, but not nearly at the volume they were! You could hear anyone in the pool during the day as well.

The curtain/blinds in the bedroom could do with some upgrading, we found far too much light poured in around the edges which made it hard to sleep, especially when combined with the noise.

It was otherwise a lovely stay and we would be more than happy to stay there again.

We stayed at "Tiki" as our kids call it 11- 18 Jan 2013. As a Timeshare resort it stands out as one of the better ones. It is centrally located - Woolies just across the street, Central Bus station also just across at the traffic lights, and bus stops both ways. This resort is located at the quiet end of Cavill Ave, away from the busy end which is the Mall. The Mall and the beach is less than 10 mins walk up Cavill. The 1 bedroom unit itself was more spacious than anything we've imagine and quite luxurious by our standard. We love the sunken spa bath which opens up into the living room. (But sadly we could never quite plug the bath tightly enough to fill up with water.) The unit was well planned and spacious. The kitchen is fully equiped for all manner of cooking. There is even a dishwasher :-) All the beds including sofa beds are comfy. There is some noise occasionally from the the traffic as we are on the first floor and the main door faces the main highway. The staff was helpful and even helped to book our tickets to watch the Tap Dogs last minute :-) Inside the car park, luggage trolleys are available for guests use. Entry into the car park and resort is by code only which changes every week- we felt comfortable with the level of security - very important since we have young kids. We enjoyed our stay at Tiki and hope to return when we have saved up again.

Room Tip: Pool, games room, cinema BBQ located on first floor - great floor if you don't mind the traffic...

We stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment on the third floor. The apartment was spacious and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. I will definitely be returning. I had read on here that there seemed to be an issue with noise, I must say, we did not have an issue with this.

The only downside was the parking. We went out a couple of times and came back to find that there were no spots available. There is no visitor parking which forced our visitors to pay to visit us...just something to be aware of. The fact that the windows were unable to be opened was also a little annoying as it forced us to have the airconditioner on a lot more than what we normally would.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the river seem quiet.

Our family of 12 stayed in 3 rooms. There was more than enough space. Value for money. Perfect location as it is on the main road where the buses pass. I would stay there again in the future.

Karen Taylor who handles their Tour Desk was extremely helpful and their prices were competitive. I bought all of our theme park tickets and booked all our transfers through her.

Another great holiday. This time we where at the back of the hotel on the 6th floor facing the Nerang River. Wow what a peaceful view. Love watching the rowers each morning. The room was so comfortable and clean.
Lucky we left on Saturday 17th Nov. Just as Surfers was being invaded by 20,000 schoolies.
They where having a great time and it was good to see so many young ones having a good time however this was the early arrivers and there were hundreds of them.
Staff where very friendly. Bus travel is expensive so recommend a 5 or 10 day pass which saves a lot of money.

Room Tip: All rooms have great views. Bus stop both ways is at your door.

The Location was great but the room was a bit tired, needs a do up, facilities were great, spa and pool fab, the staff were helpful, it was rarther noisey at night but thats what you get at the Gold Coast no matter where you stay, they could do with more car parks, as we did have problems with parking the car, the shops were very handy, the grocery shop was just over the road, so very convienent.

Room Tip: I don't think any other rooms would have been any more quiet than the one we were in.
