We stayed here as part of a Classic Holiday Club reward stay for attending a seminar. I didn't expect too much as I had read some poor reviews, however I was pleasantly surprised. Our room was on the 7th floor with a lovely view over the Nerang River. The room was clean and neat, although the furnishings were a little dated and tired. The bed was a bit firm for my liking although we did sleep ok. Even though we had read some reviews where people were too scared to cook in the kitchen in case the smoke alarm went off, we were able to cook our own toast and use the microwave without any problem. The large spa in the room was lovely. The grounds and the pool were great and the hotel a very short walk from Cavill Ave for dining and exploring.

I have visited Tiki Village International 4 times for a getaway in the sun and it never fails to deliver.
Tiki Village International fits in perfectly with the chilled out, do anything you feel like atmosphere of Surfer’s Paradise. Located right at the foot of Cavil Ave, it is the perfect location to explore the highlights of Paradise. It is an easy 5min walk to the shops, restaurants and the many clubs on offer. And most importantly only a 5 min walk to the gorgeous soft white sand, blue beach that is Surfer’s Paradise.
The location is the main reason I come back.

The rooms are spacious and welcoming with all the necessary creature comforts. A big lounge area to laze about and Foxtel in the lounge and bedroom to keep you entertained. A big comfy bed to crash in after a long day of swimming and a fun night out. But perhaps the nicest surprise is the big luxurious spa in the apartment.

The hotel itself is friendly and easy going from bottom to top with safe underground parking as well as a luxurious rooftop spa and sauna with a view.
The pool downstairs is refreshing and well kept with loads of beach lounges to lay back and soak up some sun. In comparison to other Surfer’s Paradise resorts, I find Tiki Village to be fairly peaceful.
May favourite way to spend the day was to slip on my flip flops and stroll down Cavil Ave for a bit of shopping and an ice cream at Copenhagen. Then end up at the beach for a heavenly swim. Stroll back up the avenue and grab some fish and chips on the way. Have a nap and chill out at home and get ready for a big night out on the Ave.
I would recommend Tiki Village to those that are looking for a casual laid back atmosphere that is unpretentious, clean and tidy, while still offering all the perks of Paradise.

We stayed at Tiki for a week under a time sharing basis. Receptionist and other staff ware very friendly and helpful.
We stayed at the 8th floor, eventhough we could hear some noise from the street, however, it was still bearable.
The view at the roof top was even better and the night view was excellent, especially when you look towards QDeck, I took some pictures of the beautiful scenery.
We rented a car and the car park was at the basement with the gate always closed and locked, safe!
Me and my son actually enjoyed the big bathtub which was big and was with spa...... nice...
Overall the apartment unit was clean and well-kept, kitchen was well equiped, comfortable.

Surfers' Paradise is crowded with highrise accommodations, but this 8-story one with under-building (free) parking seems more friendly and homey. We hear the front rooms have much street noise but we were in the back and had no problems. Great view of pool and river! Great bed! Heated pool is a nice size and has comfortable lounge chairs. Tour desk--Belinda and Judy--was very helpful.
We could walk to many places easily, and the access to the car was easy such that driving to others was convenient. We'd come back.

We stayed here for a week. The rooms had been promoted as 'refurbished' but although clean they are out dated. Windows could not be opened & traffic noise and night life was very loud to the point ear plugs was required to sleep. Even being on top floor We were too scared to cook in the room because of the WARNING signs about the smoke alarms and the cost we would incur if we did set one off.
However, being close most restaraunts & cafes was a bonus. Staff were always obliging and bus is out the front door.

It was our first trip to Gold Coast - in fact it was our first trip as a family with young kids going overseas....and this time it was even with our extended family!!!

We arrived fairly early in the morning - sometime before 10am and there was a slight queue at the small reception that was surprisingly manned by only one person. But this one person, Lynn - was SUPER! She managed the queue well and even in the hectic situation she managed to calmly explain to us the facilities of the hotel etc...a great beginning.

Another plus point was that as we were travelling in a party of 3 families, our request for the 3 rooms to be on the same floor was met - although understandably at that hour we only had one room ready for check-in which we did not mind to wait for the other two. Because the room turned out to be SO HUGE!!! Fully equipped with a sufficient kitchenette, (Microwave oven, fridge, stove, pots, pans, plates, cutleries etc included!) a large living room and a huge jacuzzi....and the view we had - was so magnificent!

Yes, we did feel the building an its interior and furnishings were a bit old, but it felt cosy and just like feeling at home - though our home does not have its own Jacuzzi! (Jacuzzi a bit too noisy and it did scare my kids)

Location wise - very convenient and Belinda and most of the staff were ever willing to help out with suggestions on things to do and how to get there....and their advice were all spot on! Its also a stroll away from the main surfers paradise area....so it was cool.
And there were plenty of convenient stores, supermarkets (Woolworths etc) to do your holiday groceries - we cooked for almost every night we were there....it was fun!

Facility wise - it had a convenient coin operated laundry room which we did use (stayed here for a week!) and the price was very reasonable for both wash and drying. There's also a small playground behind the hotel with a nice view of the waterway/river...

Did not use the pool though as the weather was quite cold when we were there....anyways why need pool when there's the glorious surfers paradise beach!!

I would highly recommend this hotel for families as it is comfortable and does not feel cramped like the common 5 star hotels.

Will definitely return!!!!

Second time staying her and this time had one of the refurbished rooms. The signs for setting fire alarms off did not stop us from cooking, would need to be careless to set off.
Had no problems with noise over the week there with traffic as did die down fridays, saturdays - what would you expect on main route in surfers, up on 6th floor.

We would stay again
